While working in banking for seven years, he also studied technical trading. When his fiancé moved to Edmond, OK to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, he soon followed and left behind his career in banking. He then began trading his own portfolio for about a year before joining a wealth management firm in Edmond as an Associate Advisor. He started with regular operational tasks and built up to financial planning and advising.
He soon missed securities analysis and trading and carrying with him new skills, he joined Exencial Wealth Advisors in September 2015 as a trader and investment portfolio analyst. He has since passed the level I exam of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and will soon sit for level II and is now our Chief Operations Officer.
He enjoys his work at Exencial and takes pride in the firms high ethical standard--always striving towards being the best fiduciary it can be. His interests are in leadership, workflow efficiency, automation, securities analysis, and programming. He believes that as the financial and technology industries continue to advance, it becomes that much more important to be well versed in both to perform at a high level in this industry. He enjoys learning new things and feels Brian Tracy said it best “Those people who develop the ability to continuously acquire new and better forms of knowledge that they can apply to their work, will be the movers and shakers in our society.”
