“Client: One under the care and protection of another.” Webster’s definition
For Conrad Netting, clients rate close to family for his care and protection. Born and raised in San Antonio, Netting was taught the value of hard work and integrity. He attributes his professional success to mentor, Paul Walthall, CPA, who supported Netting’s young practice, and Conrad’s mother, a very successful business executive.
Leading one of South Texas’ premiere accounting and wealth management firms for over 40 years, Netting’s leadership has won the firm numerous accolades—but most important, it has won the trust of his clients, partners, and employees. Netting and his team of advisors build trust through astute, sophisticated financial advice and solutions. At a moment’s notice, Netting will be there for his clients. He has been by the side of a grieving family in a distant state, assisting them with their lost loved one’s financial details. He has stood by the side of a client, helping him sort through literally 10 years of paperwork to find valuable documentation. He has helped a client’s daughter find a suitable college apartment.
Netting recognizes that his team of dedicated financial professionals and his clients are his assets. Their continued relationship is a blessing.
Netting’s leadership extends to his community, as well. He is actively involved in his church, The San Antonio Area Foundation, KLRN public television, Villa Finale – a National Trust property and numerous civic organizations.
He has authored a book, Delayed Legacy, which chronicles his discovery of his parents’ World War II love letters and his father’s heroic service and subsequent death after D-Day.
Netting is a veteran. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Personal Financial Specialist with a Series 65 license. He is married with three grown children and four grandchildren.
