This quarter, Exencial Wealth Advisors is pleased to spotlight Andrea Elliott, Executive Assistant, based in our Oklahoma City office.
Andrea joined Exencial in July 2021, bringing with her a strong background in administrative and operational support. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for seven years as an Executive Assistant in the financial department of the University of Oklahoma’s Physicians Group. While Andrea excelled in her role, she realized not having a college degree was holding her back from advancing further.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Andrea took advantage of the flexibility of online classes to complete her Bachelor’s degree. Though her degree was in drama, she discovered that her passion for organization, structure and problem-solving aligned perfectly with the demands of executive work. This combination of skills ultimately led her to Exencial Wealth Advisors, where she quickly found a home within the team.
At Exencial, Andrea supports the CEO and COO, as well as other leaders across the firm. Her role is diverse, encompassing everything from preparing board reports and presentations to project-managing key initiatives for the firm. One of Andrea’s most significant contributions has been the revamp of Exencial’s internal resource hub. Working closely with her colleagues, she restructured the hub, updated training materials and created resources that continue to benefit employees across the organization.
Andrea credits much of her professional growth to the mentorship of Exencial’s COO, Caleb Dillard. She shares that his leadership and guidance have allowed her to develop new skills, particularly in areas like data management and financial reporting. His belief in her abilities has inspired Andrea to continually raise the bar in her work.
Exencial's collaborative and supportive culture resonates deeply with Andrea, who appreciates the firm's dedication to its employees and clients. She values the firm’s close-knit, family-office atmosphere, even amid growth. Looking ahead, she is eager to further develop in her role and continue contributing to the team's success.
Andrea’s faith is her greatest driver, shaping her perspective and fueling her passion for both her personal and professional life. She has been married for 18 years and is the proud mother of a 16-year-old son who recently began driving—an exciting milestone for her family. A talented artist, Andrea enjoys painting, drawing, and singing, and she also loves playing sports like volleyball and pickleball. Outside of work, she cherishes spending time with her family and their church community, finding joy and inspiration in their shared faith and fellowship.
