At Exencial Wealth Advisors, our team is our greatest asset, comprising individuals whose unique backgrounds and skills shape our approach to serving clients. This quarter, we highlight Cassandra Colon, our Client Service Manager, whose journey is a testament to dedication, growth and a passion for helping others.
Originally aiming to become an elementary school principal, Cassandra attended East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, where she earned her bachelor's degree in education. She started her career as a special education teacher, a role that instilled in her a passion for helping others.
Seeking a different path, Cassandra moved into sales with positions at Cintas and Office Depot before pivoting to a career in client services. Cassandra spent eight years in client services at a laboratory, laying the groundwork for her role at Exencial.
Cassandra joined our team in 2018 as a Relationship Manager. Her outstanding ability to support both advisors and clients saw her quickly ascend to the role of Client Service Manager. In this capacity, Cassandra oversees the firm’s relationship managers and collaborates with the operations team to enhance processes and solve challenges, aiming for incremental improvements that make a significant impact over time.
Helping people has always been Cassandra's driving force, a constant in her varied career. Whether it was assisting a student or supporting an advisor in client service, her goal has always been to help others succeed. Another favorite aspect of her job is the team spirit at Exencial, where challenges are met with collective effort and support.
Outside of work, Cassandra and her husband enjoy exercising and spending time outdoors, particularly planting and maintaining a flower garden in her 2.5 acre yard. A lover of baseball, she has three dogs named after baseball players — Mickey, Koufax and Louie. Family time, especially with her three nieces, is also a cherished part of her life.
