Tax Director
Ada Cartright, CPA, PFS
Ada M. Cartright, CPA/PFS joined Exencial Wealth Advisors in April 2016. She and the San Antonio tax team work as part of Exencial’s regional tax team working closely with the account managers and clients to provide clients excellent tax services and consulting.
After being a stay-at-home mom for a few years, Ada re-entered the accounting world as an integral part of a tax preparation and consulting team. Ada has been a CPA practicing at local firms for 15 plus years. Her experience includes working with high net-worth individuals and their related trusts, as well their businesses set up as corporations and partnerships. She recently obtained her AICPA sponsored PFS designation to better serve the client needs.
Ada attended Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas and graduated with a BBA in Accounting. She lives in San Antonio, TX with her husband, Mike, and two of their four children, Zoee and Tony. Their adult children, Travis and Dylan, live nearby in the San Antonio area. Ada enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in church and other volunteer activities, Yoga, reading and a variety of creative outlets, such as photography and jewelry design.
PFS – The PFS designation is a financial planning credential awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”) to individuals who satisfy its professional, work experience and educational requirements. Recipients of the PFS designation are required to be Certified Public Accountants (“CPAs”), maintain AICPA membership, have completed at least 80 hours of personal financial planning education, have at least two years of financial planning related business or teaching experience, and have passed the Personal Financial Planning examination. In order to maintain an ac tive PFS credential, holders must remain in good standing with the AICPA, retain a valid and unrevoked CPA certificate and complete 60 hours of financial planning related continuing education every three years.

Ashtin Bell
Ashtin Bell joined Exencial in June of 2021 as part of the tax team. She began her career in tax in 2015, working at small to medium size local firms where she gained her experience in tax compliance, planning, and research, with a focus in high net worth individuals and their affiliates.
Ashtin graduated with honors from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
She currently lives in San Antonio with her husband, Stephen, and son, Lincoln. When Ashtin is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and reading new books.

Cheryl Belk
Cheryl Belk joined Exencial Wealth Advisors in April 2016. She has spent many years in finance, the last 16 years with Netting & Pace, CPAs as the company Financial Administrator. Cheryl works in several areas such as bookkeeping, database management, payroll and special projects just to name a few.
Cheryl is married to Tom, and they live in San Antonio with their son, Garrett. They have one granddaughter, and love spending time with her. Cheryl also enjoys church activities, gardening, bowling, and family time.

Senior Tax Manager
Chris Meeks, CPA
Chris Meeks, CPA joined Exencial Wealth Advisors in September of 2021. Prior to joining Exencial, Chris worked as a CPA for more than ten years for both local and national firms. Chris has a comprehensive and diverse background in tax compliance, planning, and tax controversy at the international, federal, state, and local levels. Chris’s main focus over the last several years has been assisting high net worth families and closely-held family businesses with their tax planning needs.
Chris has a passion for developing relationships with his clients, small or large. He has a track record of helping clients to grow their small businesses in the most tax-advantageous manner possible. Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the San Antonio CPA Society, and previously served on the board of the TSCPA State Taxation Committee. Chris graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Incarnate Word with a BBA in Accounting. Chris lives in San Antonio, Texas with his wife and three children.

Delia Garcia
Delia Garcia joined Exencial Wealth Advisors in April 2016 after working with Netting & Pace, CPAs since 2005. Delia has taken courses in tax preparation and will assist when needed. She has been in the investment management field for over 20 years and tax assembly for over 10 years.
Delia is devoted to helping our clients; many of them know her by name and see her as our contact person for most of our tax questions. She takes great pride in helping our clients and takes every opportunity as a learning experience.
Delia has 3 children and 6 grandchildren that she loves spending time with. They range from ages 4 to 18 years old. She spends a lot of quality time with her mother who keeps her very busy. She loves reading and arts & crafts which she enjoys with her mother.

Dustin Schuetz, EA
Dustin Schuetz is proud to be with Exencial Wealth Advisors and joined the team in April 2016. Dustin dedicates the majority of his work to clients by preparing tax returns, tax projections and also tax planning.
Dustin has been working within the accounting field for over 10 years, specifically in the San Antonio area. Committed to his client’s satisfaction, Dustin’s experience focuses on working with high net-worth individuals and businesses in a variety of industries, some of which include real estate, manufacturing, and healthcare.
Graduating from Texas State University, Dustin currently lives San Antonio, TX with his two young children. In his downtime, Dustin enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf with friends.

Julia Ellingwood, CPA/PFS
Julia A. Ellingwood, CPA joined Exencial Wealth Advisors in April 2016, having previously been with Netting and Pace, CPAs since 2013. She works with the San Antonio tax team to provide clients with excellent tax and consulting services. A CPA since 2005, Julia is licensed in both Texas and Washington. Julia attended Kent State University in Kent, OH, graduating with a Business Administration degree. She completed a graduate-level accounting certificate at the University of Washington in Seattle. She has passed the AICPA sponsored PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) exam, and is working on completing the required financial planning hours to earn the credential.
She enjoys reading, music, and spending time with her family.

Kehoness James, EA
Kehoness James joined Exencial in January 2019. He works with the tax team to deliver tax preparation, tax projections, and tax planning services for clients. Before joining Exencial, Kehoness worked in the customer service and compliance field and uses that expertise to deliver great client satisfaction.
Graduating from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelor and master’s degree in accounting, Kehoness currently lives in San Antonio. Kehoness enjoys spending time making countless memories with friends and family.

Kristin Carlton, CFP®
Kristin Carlton, CFP® joined Exencial Wealth Advisors in April 2016 and works in our San Antonio office. Before becoming an employee with Exencial, she was the Senior Financial Planner at Netting & Pace, CPAs for eleven years. Kristin graduated from The University of Texas in San Antonio in 2005 with a BBA in both Finance and Business Management. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM and obtained her Series 65 license.
Kristin enjoys meeting with clients and learning more about them, their families and their personal and financial goals. In addition to her experience working with high-net worth clients, Kristin also enjoys working with Millennials, newlyweds or other young professionals looking to enhance their financial knowledge and begin planning for their future.
Kristin is an active member of the San Antonio Estate Planners Council and the Financial Planning Association.

Landen Gill
Landen Gill is a dedicated and driven professional pursuing a Master’s in Accounting with the goal of becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of the Incarnate Word in May 2023 and has a strong foundation in business strategy, finance, and organizational management.
Landen’s professional journey reflects his adaptability and diverse expertise. Prior to his academic pursuits in business and accounting, he spent over a decade as an Executive Chef, where he honed his leadership, creativity, and operational management skills. He later transitioned into real estate acquisition, gaining valuable experience in negotiations, market analysis, and client relations.
Currently, Landen is expanding his knowledge and experience in business writing, audience analysis, and effective communication strategies. He is also contributing to the development of Exencial Wealth Advisors' ‘Resource Hub’ on the company’s SharePoint platform, designing a professional and user-friendly space for training videos, resources, and tax team articles.
Outside of his professional and academic life, Landen is a devoted husband and father, spending his free time playing guitar, enjoying outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and disc golf, and sharing his love of sports with his two children.
With a commitment to lifelong learning and a passion for excellence, Landen Gill continues to pursue opportunities for growth and meaningful contributions in the field of accounting and beyond.

Norma Nieto
Norma Jean Nieto recently joined the team as a Tax Administrator.
She has Business Administration training with over twenty years of experience as administrative support, keeping pace with progressive technology software and applications.
She works closely with the tax director and tax associates providing support and encouragement, specializing in client data management.
Norma has three daughters and five grandchildren. They gather weekly for home cooked meals where they like to try new recipes. They especially enjoy going to local MiLB games where they can cheer on the home team. She also enjoys church activities, hand embroidering and nurturing her succulent garden.

Relationship Manager
Taylor Gill
Taylor joined Exencial Wealth Advisors in 2019 as a Relationship Manager in our San Antonio office. Taylor previously worked as a tax preparer and bookkeeper for a local CPA firm starting in 2010. He moved into the financial services sector in 2014 while working as a financial planning intern for Netting & Pace CPAs.
After his internship ended, Taylor spent several years as the Client Services Manager for Sawtelle Financial Management and then worked for Alliance Bernstein as a Private Client Administrator.
Taylor attained his Series 65 license in 2020. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, riding his bike, and any outdoor activity involving water.
